So a lot has happened since my last blog post. I've been writing a horror story, a book of macabre poems and a children's book. All of the above I hope to move forward on this month. The horror book is finished and I'm just doing the cover art; then finally I'll be able to talk about it. I hate being so secretive, it's really not in my nature haha.
The macabre poems are a collection of art and dark poems that I use to explore my ideas sometimes. Not everything needs to be a long story I find. I like taking a flimsy idea and testing it in poetic form; It just gets it out and makes it physical to me.
As for the children's book, I am also a very happy father and being all over the place with my creativity, I also enjoy showing my kids what I do, unfortunately, not everything I do is ready for their little minds; one day. But for now, a cute children's book is a fun way to show them I'm not all darkeness and horror. I'm actually a very rounded person with lots of interests.
So, I hope that helps some of you, and I'll try to keep up the blogging in future. It all got a bit much with everything else going on in my life and I need time to evaluate things. I hope that's cool? 😎
